Philip Kiff, Lead Designer and Developer

Philip KiffPhilip Kiff has been working with academics and non-profit organizations for two decades. In graduate school at York University he worked as a course instructor, served as student President, designed the student handbook, and built a database for the Faculty of Graduate Studies. Eager to find practical applications for his bilingual communication skills, he took his MA and headed to New Brunswick. In Fredericton, he worked for Easter Seals, collaborating with partners across the country on a federal health information website.

That early work kindled a passion for universal design, web standards and accessibilty. Inspired by the early pioneers of what is now called responsive web design, he immersed himself in advanced coding techniques. At ABC Life Literacy Canada he honed his visual design and marketing skills. And the Institute for Work & Health provided the chance to work again with academics on a wide range of print and web design projects. Philip has consistently sought to surround himself with those who share his faith in the power of the web to inform and educate in a beautiful way. Now he has bundled that wealth of experience and commitment into his own company: D4K Communications.
